Dancers for Dimes (D4D) is local dancers performing together to support and raise
funds for the March of Dimes.
Since our first performance in 2005, we have raised over $10,000! All proceeds from
ticket sales and advertising in our show program go directly to the March of Dimes.
Other fund-raising items, such as dancer greetings, donation boxes, and a 50/50 lottery
are also incorporated in this event. Ambassador families from the March of Dimes
are invited to address the audience regarding their first-hand experience with birth
defects. It is great when the families speak, so the audience and participants get
a deeper understanding of this issue and how it impacts the world around them.
